Psychiatric Physician Assistant
PA-Owned Outpatient Psychiatry | North Carolina | Full Time | 100% Telehealth
Clinical Responsibilities
Full-spectrum outpatient psychiatry (excluding MAT) for children, adolescents, and adults
Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including psychotherapy counseling and medication management
Manage portal messages, order labs, school/work letters, forms, and prior authorizations
Schedule follow ups; new patients will be onboarded and scheduled for you
Visit lengths: 20 to 40-minute follow ups and 60-minute new patients
No weekends or call requirements
Autonomy and Workflow
Full clinical ownership: manage your panel, schedule structure, and follow-up intervals
Direct control over patient communication and treatment pacing
Standardized templates, macros, and optimized workflows designed to make documentation efficient and defensible
Streamlined systems reduce unnecessary administrative layers
What We’re Looking For
Driven Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of psychiatric experience; psychiatric experience through family medicine or other specialties may be considered
Strong passion for lifestyle psychiatry
Comfortable treating a range of patient ages, including pediatrics
Proficiency in telehealth environment
Strong psychotherapy skills and experience
Values autonomy and can manage workflow independently
Interested in growing within a modern, streamlined, PA-owned private practice
CAQ favored but not required
Compensation and Incentives
Base salary: $120,000 annually
Productivity bonuses: Monthly productivity incentives based on clinical volume and complexity; up to $150,000
